This fancy boy, shown only once 2007 season, proved to be quite the winner for us. Receiving 1st from both judges at Double gold show in Albany, and Youngstock Reserve Champion, at Western Nationals placed double 1sts in his age division, this all at 6 weeks of age. 2007 National Reserve Champion colts 2 and under. In September we proudly presented him and his dam at the American Sport Pony Inspection, where both were 1st premium, receiving their ASPR brands and Roderick was Reserve Site Champion scoring 7.5. Inspectors' comments were highly complimentary, stating that both Winterlake Lola and Roderick were an example of ideal breeding for the sport of combined driving (the fastest growing equine sport in US currently) as well as showing versatility for dressage, jumping and other competitive sports. Roderick should mature around 14.2 or taller, he certainly could be your talented competitive gelding. He has personality plus, not only sweet, but bold and loves to get out and go places. He easily trailers, bathes, clips, stands for farrier, up to date on all shots and worming. We will be offering for sale this beautiful colt just a while longer for sale as a stallion prospect though we hate to geld such a nice boy we do not have room for another stallion. He has incredible suspension at the trot, has a sweetheart of temperament to work with, we are very very pleased with this colt that Trinket and Rhodri have given us. Lot of Chrome to catch the judge's eye! At 12 months Corin measures 13'3hh and weighs 700 pounds. He should mature at around 15hh. This colt is ready to start some ground work, update on all shots, current with farrier, has been hauled. If you are looking for a show colt, dressage or driving prospect, this is one to look at.
